They manage to blow their way out of the basement, and Werner makes his way to the girl. He manages to kill Von Rumple and leads Marie-Laure to safety. Though first, Marie-Laure goes to the cave and puts the model house, with the Sea Of Flames inside, into the ocean. This is how the curse is said to be broken.
